Do you know how to do papers in APA format really well?

Does anyone out there understand APA format really well. Every semester I am having to write these papers with APA format and it takes me forever because I can't ever remember all the rules and then I don't really make that well but it took me double the time. I just don't know what gives.

I understand. I am having challenges with the APA format as well.
Back in college, we were asked to do turabian but shifted to MLA format. I think MLA is better.
