Isn't Adderall for ADHD

Yes, you are right that Adderall is for ADHD. But it also has another indication, which is for narcolepsy, a sleep disorder. Basically, Adderall is an amphetamine, and amphetamine is a psychostimulant that make the brain sort of more "aroused". This medication is somewhat related to ecstasy, and it could be addicting because it makes you feel good, but if you use it in correct doses for the right purposes this shouldn't be a problem. I also heard from others about weight loss from this medication; if this is bothering you or making you uncomfortable or weak, do see the doctor and tell him about it because in the long term, this is undesirable. Well, it's good that you're making more posts and they are much longer than before, it shows that the medication works! Just hope that it doesn't "over"work!

Yes it is for ADHD Cause i have and the doc put me on the same thing but that because i have adhd... Yes it is very addicting to those that don't ave adhd cause they use it like cocain....The doc probably put you on it just get you motivated and focus....

Yes, adderall is for ahdhd, its the strongest dose for i beleive. and if it is working for you. i think that mabey the dr thinks that you have adhd or some signs and symptoms. wich if its helping you i wouldnt be to worried about taking it. only thing is the long term effects. its makes you loose weight because it makes your apitite weak untill your body ajusts to it. It does the same thing for me. it helped me ALOT when i was in school. And when i waas taken off of it there was not like any withdrawls from the pill its self... just of course hyper active behavior.

hello i read your questing let me say i have been in depression group for 10 yrs was put in a wheelchair 10 yrs ago and am still having prob adjusting to this doc says you never gat over depression all to greather i take 17 pills a day for depression and anxity just keeping trying an dont give up hope this helps and best of luck baja67
