I am happy that Ces, the cameraman and the university professor was finally free from the bandit Abussayaf. However i felt real sadness for her and the rest of Abusayyaf victims (then and now) when i read in the papers how terrifying that experience was. I really felt sorry for all the victims of terrorism, I know that the reason why there is terrorism is deep and complicated…but I just hope that peace will prevail soon . Nobody deserves such violence. I hope and pray that Ces and others would fully recover from that experience and that the government would implement measures to eradicate terrorism.

Honestly, when I first heard about it over the news, I was really bothered because this Abu Sayyaf thing hasn't been solved and I think it can never be solved.
Ces Drilon and company didn't deserve that treatment. I'm glad that they are free right now and hopefully an incident such as this would not happen again.
