I personally didn't like the guy all that much. But I have to admit that he was a great comedian. He was definitely one of the best to ever tell a joke no matter my personal likes or dislikes. You know you will remember him; but how?

I heard some of his stuff in the '80's when I was a teen and at first I liked it, but later got the underlying meaning of some of his jokes. Didn't like him much after that. Right now, he would rip my life to shreds. I'm the average suburban housewife mom type he was always making fun of. So, I guess I didn't really like him. But he had his funny moments, like most comedians. I think he'll be missed.

I have enjoyed Carlin's humor for years, and I liked his most recent routine about getting older, but my favorites were from the old days...back in the 70's. The Hippy Dippy Weatherman, 7 Words you couldn't say on television, the 7 sins in one feel. For us aging Baby Boomers, George Carlin was our spokesperson and our friend.
