If one were to look back at the last century there would be so many discoveries / inventions which have changed our lives like the cumbostion engine, the aeroplane, the internet, man on the moon, inventions in the medicinal fields and the list goes on..... What are likely to be the the great such inventions / discoveries in this century. Are they space travel ? a cure for aids, A new fuel.. .. Share your suggestions here

Most probably power related. Maybe a way to harvest natural sources of power effectively, or maybe in technology.. a cures for cancer, aids, diabetes .. perhaps time travel ?? The world is full of oppurtunities .. many more great discoveris WILL come .. Well, in case they dont .. i dont think there'd be a point in being alive .. knowing we cannot grow further.

I think, the recent and future discoveries would be based on mostly alternative energy resources. Discoveries would be based on environment friendly, devoid of any carbon emission technologies. Like bicycle could develop to great extent till a point where it would be more speedy and passenger carriable. Thanks.

The bicycle concept is an interesting one. I would agree that one of the most likely important discoveries would have to do with alternate energies and a lot to do with our envoirnment, now that we seem to be waking up to the consequences of our actions. Thanks
