When potty training your little one do you believe it's best to use pull ups, cloth pants with plastic, or let them be naked until they've got the idea?
Why do you feel that way? Did it work well for your child?

IMO, pull ups are too much like a diaper. I just buy regular under wear and train that way. Yes, your washing may increase a bit, but it's still the cheaper way. Plus, IMO I have had better luck using under wear than pull ups. I say no to naked, because if they use it in the floor, especially little boys, they think it's cute. Trust me on that one.

Hey me again! We always let them go naked at our house!! Its a hard enough thing for them to potty train so we made the process as simple and frustration free as possible! They were both potty trained by 20 months old! One girl and one boy!

We used Pull Ups and regular underwear both. It just depended on what we were doing. If we were sitting at home, and he could have my undivided attention, we used the regular underwear. If I was busy doing something else (I worked from home on a monthly magazine column until recently), I put him in a Pull Ups. We used Pull Ups when we went anywhere, too. We never did the naked thing, though.

I think that if you are potty training you should go to the store and buy them some big kid underwear and even let them pick them out with you. That is what I did with my kids it really made them feel important and the most important thing is that it worked
