These are some flowers I got from my old neighbor a few years ago. I can not for the life opf recall the name of this flower. Does anyone possibly know them? I am in Minnesota and they are perrenials coming back each year. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance all. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hello G.B. I am pretty sure they are Evening Primrose... though I am no expert, that is what they remind me of. We grew them years ago in NY from a plant my folks gave me from their garden... they grew marvelously and every year there were more than the year before - I like that!

I'd just call them neighbor flowers. hehehe. Very funny I know, but honestly I'm not much of a gardener but I like you to know I'm thinking about you regardless. Have a Great weekend.

This is Missouri Evening Primrose. I remember them being called Missouri Moondrops. I have some planted in my front garden bed.

I'm glad to see you found out what they were. They sure are pretty. I don't have anything blooming anymore, just the flowers on my sugar snap peas! Oh, and one bright yellow thing that sprouted in my front bed that I'm sure is a weed, but I'm leaving it anyways since the rest of it is bare.

I had these in my garden two houses ago and loved them. I know they're in the evening primrose family, but the neighbors called them sundrops. I divided them up and had them all over the place. The only drawback was they didn't bloom for a long time, but while they were blooming it was such a great splash of color. I know they like full sun. They're good to plant where you can hide them with other flowers since they get kind of ugly later in the year.
