Worst set back

Which, you think, is the worst set back you had in your life? And from which you are still trying to come to terms with? Mine is loss of my mother. I don't have any career set back, fortunately!

Mine was the break up of my relationship with my partner a few years ago. Everything went haywire as I could not handle it and did not care for anything any more. It took me a good 5 years to get a grip of things and I am still trying to repair all the damage of that period.
