E-sky Rc Simulator software w/controller. Is it worth 19.99?

Ive been just introduced in to the world of rc remote control airplanes and helis. Would it be a good idea to by The E-Sky flight simulator with controller to get accustomed to the flying enviroment before i even fly? Or is it more practical to get hands on? Please help....
