Well, with all this sunshine, warmth, and rain on and off here in Minnesota lately, my Lilies are doing great. I now have 9 that have opened with a lot more left with plenty of buds to open. It is going to be beautiful to say the least when they are all opened. That's if these don't die off first. I'll start one about my yellow and Orange Tiger Lilies soon as well. Hope your garden and flowers are thriving this year as mine are.

Hey Grandpa Bob glad your garden is doing so well! weather here is still pants and not much in the way of shunshine.
I have not got around to getting any plants yet for my garden, we had our patio done the other week and that looks nice, but there is still lots to be done. Such a big garden and its going to cost a lot more than I thought, so it may be next year before I am thoroughly able to enjoy it.

Thank you very much. I work hard each day tending to all my flowers, veggies, and fruits of all sorts so they better turn out good. HAHAHA! It does get costly at times but well worth it to me.

Hi, my Aunt and Uncle was visiting this morning from S. Carolina and i showed her your flowers she loved your Jacobs Ladder and columbine. She took a peep at your mystery flower and said that it was beautiful but didn't know what it was. I wish this one had been up, she is partial to Lilys.

you make me envy you again grandpa bob... i don't have green hands so i don't have any plant or flowers in my backyard... so my bakcyard is not as nice and colorful as yours... may be you will be kind enough to send some of your flowers to me please??? :-) enjoy your new blossoming flowers... take care and have a nice day...

Those are beautiful... I remember when growing up my grandmother and grandfather loved lilies mainly the tiger ones I remember they had nothing but Orange ones.. They were of course very pretty as well.. That's one of the flowers I didn't get a chance to plant this year, Next year though i most certainly will...

I have one lily that I recall that points downward. I can't recall where it is but it was awesome last year. Hope it blooms this year as well. I just don't recall where it is at from all my lily beds etc. HAHAHA!! I have orange and yellow Tigers in the front bed.

We seem to be having a beautiful year for the things that I have growing. I am going to have some really nice grapes. The cherries are luscious. I am enjoying myself. Will not be on much for this evening, I am running away with hubby, "The other Grandpa Bob"

Yes it is. I love spring and summer as the flowers and shrubs etc are all aglow with color and great aromas.

They're so beautiful.
I wish that I had a green thumb too.
Once I kept a rose alive for an entire
month in a glass jar with just liquid
Miracle Grow. That is the extent of
my gardening knowledge. But I do love to
garden. Just not an expert.

I am not an expert. Just one whom loves his plants and takes great care of them to the best of my knowledge which is limited as well. Thanks also. Heres a shot of some of the ones I moved a couple weeks ago from the front of the house to the Lily bed along the driveway. they survived the move very well it seems.

THAT IS LOVELY!! I am happy to hear from someone in Minnesota. I live in Florida but my husband is a storm chaser and is staying up there around your neck of the woods. I really miss him but I am happy that he is in a good place. People from Minnesota are VERY sweet!! I'm sure like everywhere else there are some sourpusses but I haven't met one yet.

We had a tornado not far from my house a month ago and I went chasing it but missed it by a few just catching the tornado running back into the sky. Minnesotan's are referred to as "Minnesota Nice."
