i believe you can because they are basically the same game system just an upgrade, i know that an employee from walmart told me that you can play gamegoy advance games on a nintendo ds system. if you are still unsure before you buy just ask an employee at the local game store they should know.

I don't think so. I tried to put a Game Boy Color game into a Game Boy Advance and it was just a little too big for the system. I know you can play regular Game Boy Games in them though. I almost bought the Game Boy Color Games, until I tried to fit it into the system. The guy at the pawn shop I was at said that he thought that was the ONLY system games that were not compatible aside from the DS.

Yes, you can. In gameboy advance system you can put on the GBC cartridge and play the games but the cartridge does come out a little bit as they are longer in comparison to the Gba cartridges. You also then have a choice if you want to play it in wide screen fully or in the normal way. Gameboy advance has the gameboy color within it you can say. Not only gameboy color but you can also play the old game boy games on it. But you can't really play gameboy cartridges on DS but you can use an emulator to play gameboy games on it.

I'm pretty sure you can, though I never had the game boy colour to have the games for my SP, I havent used the SP in a while due to my DS but as far as I recal you can use game boy colour games. I think the advance was just a slight alteration with a change in the location of controls
