I don't know if it will be valuable to anyone else but my Dad gave it to me when i was younger (it was old even then)and he passed away about 19yrs. ago so i doubt i ever get rid of it. Of course when i kick the bucket my children can do as they please with it!

Hi mulau2u!
Yes I have used that machine before computers aren't available yet. They're called typewriter machines. In fact I still have one in my house. It is easy to use and it doesn't require electricity. Its maintenance expenses is also low. You just have to clean it regularly by dusting it. You also doesn't have to use expensive inks to be able to print. The typewriter machine uses carbon for printing.
For me a typewriter is the most reliable way in printing documents. Though it is an old fashioned way but still is reliable. One doesn't have to go through special trainings or school in order to learn how to use it. You can use it in an instant. Not having to learn how to plug and open it unlike computers which is more complicated. But since we are in an advanced technology, fewer people uses the typewriter nowadays.
