I have this discussion a month ago about this amazing guy which is also one of my mylot friends. I was really amazed by his activity having posted more than 500 discussions in just a month time.
Now when I came to check my friends list last night, I have noticed the big difference in his status. He last logged in here 3 weeks ago and now he has only 440 plus posts. And to check further what has gone wrong with him, I browse the discussions he started. And I was a bit shocked. His 500 plus discussions now only 470 plus. He lost more than 25 posts.
With the kind of activity he had shown before, I was challenged to do more posts. But I can't seem to find myself doing same thing he did.
But it never stopped me from writing. I will keep writing, writing more with sense, I hope...

Yes, but take a break also. Sometimes we are not in the mood to post or write anything. Even how hard we try, it just so happen that we end up messing up or having mental blocked. Just take things slowly and have fun doing the things that we used to do because the most enjoyable job in life is to enjoy what we do no matter what, how, and what it will become. Have fun, and I will response to your discussion that interest me much.. that 's my promise..

Hello neildc.
I do not understand what you are telling us. How does one "lose" 25 posts? I did not realize there was a way that myLot would actually removed posts. Although I do understand that the numbers could be a little off one way or the other. But, by 25 posts? What does that mean? Just wondering.

Oh, I see. I hope I know which myLot discussions to respond and not respond to. Thanks for the explanation neildc.
I do try to follow the guidelines here at myLot. But I will review them again, just to make sure. Take care.

There is mylot guidelines so probably, his posts violated the guidelines. And the painful thing is, when you respond to a discussion that was deleted, your earnings and your posts will be deducted too. I had been very careful these days responding to discussions.

well, i never want to push myself too hard here... i don't think it is worth it anyway... i just want to relax and enjoy my time here... the earnings is just a bonus for me... i value the friendship and new knowledge that i learn from here more than the money... i treat the money as a bonus as i also have full time job outside and i don't have much time to spend here... good luck with your mylotting... take care and have a nice day...

Usually every month I lose a lot of posts off my score and one time I was losing that many that I was getting really frustrated. Now I try to get round it by making sure the discussions that I respond to are not breaking any rules and also if I post anything it is also within the rules. So far I am not doing too bad. It is just a case of checking everything that I do before I do it.

It is really great to stick with the rules. I actually review the guidelines once in a while so I can be updated, no one knows if someday mylot has some revisions or what...

That's the spirit. But I suggest that you don't push your self too hard, or you'll get burnt out or mental blocked. Just what happened to me. Take it real slow best. As for me, I just do post when I'm inspired and when I'm relaxed. Have a nice day.

500 posts in a month's time is a great job! Yes,let us be encouraged with the people who do great job here in the community, and should we find the same people to be not performing as well as before there must be good reasons. It's always a good spirit to look at the best performance of the user and let it be an inspiration to us. Let us all do our best in our performance so as to encourage one another here at mylot.
Happy posting.
