An opening Shot

The other day as I walked my yard and garden taking photos I got this fantastic shot of my Asiatic Lily opening up. I love how the flower is shaped as the first open up. Once they are fully opened they are very flat looking. Have you got any photos of "your" lilies to share with me here? Please?

I have got no photos to share of any flowers in my garden as I dont have any yet, but I will one day I promise! I have to say that I am amazed at the amount of different beautiful flowers that you have its wonderful.
I would not be able to come and visit you though as your flowers in bloom would kill me, I have really bad hayfever. It is strange this year too, as it is making me feel like I have a permanent cold, feel quite rough!

Thank you very much. This summer and through the fall I am transplanting and seperating a lot of flowers etc to move them to other areas and also to produce more flowers etc. This will be for a totally new landscaoe look for myself, neighbors, as well as passerbys.

Well I reckon it will be beautiful, I love flowers. Not shop flowers but proper garden flowers, there is nothing more pleasing than to walk past a well loved garden with lots of flowers in it.

They sell them in the garden center. They have
grown ones as well as bulbs in a multi pack box.

Just take some photos of neighbors flowers or even wildflowers then to share and do discussions on.

I love lillies and do have some I will have to try to get some pictures on here,I am not real sure how to do it but I have figured things out so far so maybe i will give it a try.You have lovely flowers.Have a great evening.

Very pretty, and a good shot.
Nope, this one stupid lily of mine still hasn't opened and I'm beginning to think it never will. I just want to see what it will look like, what type it truly is, then it can croak the next day for all I care at this point, LOL ...

I too love gardening like you.I love planting varieties of lilies in my garden,right now I have my bright yellow calla lilies in bloom.I will take a photo and post it soon.I am now into collecting different types of lilies to be sown in my garden.

I know that you know I adore lilies - they are my favourite flowers so I am going to believe that you posted this photograph just for me, so Thank you AGB! I don't have any lilies and here they are really indoor plants because of the weather but my bestest friend has been growing me a lily for part of my birthday in September but she thinks it is going to bloom way before then so I shall get it early - although not too early as I know I will probably kill it if I have to look after it too long! xxx

The flowers are beautiful, I know that you have the prettiest yard in the neighbor hood and others have to work to keep up with how nice your yard looks. Have a good one and you go with your bad self.
