Call centers have dominated the business industry nowadays. Professionals, undergraduates, students, people from all walks of life are welcomed to apply...no age limit as well. So, which do you prefer? Outbound or inbound? Your thoughts...

same thing here...i've been in the industry for more than six years and outbound sales help me a lot financially...but there are times that i thought of doing inbound job (if i am not hitting my target, hehe) but in the end, it would still be outbound. because that's where the money is...

I've done some of both and I much prefer inbound. Outbound is mostly sales and telemarketing. I know how much I hate getting telemarketer calls so I don't like being the one calling other people. With inbound I did customer service type work and really enjoyed it. When the person calls you they are more civil and there is a reason for the call. Inbound is a lot less nerve wracking. Also, sometimes outbound is commission based and inbound usually isn't.
