im doing outbound for 3 years now and i dont really see myself shifts to inbound...maybe becoz of the campaign we are handling..
for these long years outbound sale remained to be my bread and butter...

same thing here...i've been in the industry for more than six years and outbound sales help me a lot financially...but there are times that i thought of doing inbound job (if i am not hitting my target, hehe) but in the end, it would still be outbound. because that's where the money is...

I've done some of both and I much prefer inbound. Outbound is mostly sales and telemarketing. I know how much I hate getting telemarketer calls so I don't like being the one calling other people.
With inbound I did customer service type work and really enjoyed it. When the person calls you they are more civil and there is a reason for the call. Inbound is a lot less nerve wracking.
Also, sometimes outbound is commission based and inbound usually isn't.
