Is it the Microsoft Excel or does it just refer to the columns or the tables options in Microsoft Word? Thanks.

I have never heard of Microsoft Columnar, maybe its just referring to text columns in MS Word or in MS Office since columnar data can be used interchangeably, imported, exported of link to every MS Office applications. Wish I could help.

Yep same here so I was thinking either its another word for Excel (like StarOffice or Open Office as alternatives to MS Office) or its the tables in MS Word. If you would have to guess which would it be? Excel or Word?

I would associate it more with Excel, in fact is sounded like an accounting software.
