Do you takey our pills standing ??

Pills and capsules go down more easily if you take them with a full glass of water while standing and you remain standing for a while.Otherwise,the medication may stay in your oesophagus for several minutes causing heart burn or nausea.What is the way you take your pills? and which is better?

I'd never heard of that, but I usually do take my pills standing up. Maybe it depends on the medication, but I've never noticed that it bothered me when I took them sitting down, or lying down right afterward.

taking medicine is always a hard thing to me. if pills are big, i often cut them to few parts. that is easy for me to swollow. and for capsules, i always open the cap and pull the filling into my cup. i seldom take medicine, but it is so hard for me since i was a child.

I also cut the pills before swallowing.But,I like to take Ayurvedic decoctions that has no side effects.cheers..
