Life is just for living

I feel life is just for living. Whatever is due to happen will happen. Whatever is not to happen, will never happen. So, just be with everything as a watcher. Of course, the barest minimum you will have to do for living. I am talking about the rushing and running for big achievements, which I feel unnecessarily kills the peace of our lives. What do you feel?
