I just started reading this book called Chakra Tonics by Elise Marie Collins. I haven't gotten that far in it but in the first chapter she states that Throught the chakras we filter life's daily events, dreams, hopes, desires, fears, regrets, thoughts, and communications. I thought well that is interesting then she goes on and states the each Chakra corresponds oto thematic emaotional and spiritual issues and challanges that can be overcome in order to move on to higher levels of self mastery and fullfillment.
As I go on I find out that there are 7 Chakras the The ist chakra is the root chakra is't located at the base of the spine and is assiociate with survival and sometime the adrenal glands, blood, and overall general health ( I have to say mine has to be way out of wack. ), the secondis the sacral chakra and it's located at the top of the sacrumit deals with the emotions, sexualityand procreation, the third is the belly chakra found in the solar plexus and is associated with physical and spiritual power, body/spirit energy center, the fourth is the heart chakra this is locatedat the center of the chest who's of thunk it. The hear chakra deals with the balancing center for love(definitely don't want that to screw up on us do we?)and the afinity for self and others, the fifth is the throat Chakra and it's located at the base of the throat it deals with the center of eloquence and communication, the 6th is the brow chakra located between the eye brows aka the third eye chakra but this deals with a clear mind and intuition center, The 7th chakra is the crown chakralocated at the top of the head this chakra deals with transcendence, instantaneous knowing, and divine connection. ( I so need some divince connection right about know).
As I sit here and read I was wondering how many of you mylotters believe in the Chakras and actually do things to help restore balance to your mind and body? Maybe we all need a little mind and body over haul. What do you think?

I think some poor sod had too much time on his hands to think up all this! LOL But I've studied the Chakras and there is something to be said for the theory. However, I also studied the breathing exercises that go along with the balancing of the Chakras and found that much more effective and interesting. I can now stare into a mirror at a reflected candle and by breathing and concentrating my Chakras, make the candle go out in the mirror, but not in reality. It's a gift. lol

See now you have to come for a visit so you can teach me the technique. Just like the spinning ball technique that you envision these spinning balls and if they are colored or what not you spinning them until there is nothing but a pure white color.

I used to think that that kind of thing was really an exercise in self hypnotism or self induced delusion. Then one night I was showing a friend the breathing exercises in front of the mirror with the burning candle. She was looking over my shoulder into the mirror and watching me breath, and suddenly at the same time we said "the candle's gone out", and we turned around and it was lit in reality but not in the mirror! 'mass' hysteria, maybe, but I don't think so. She got so scared she never pursued it, but it's fascinated me ever since.

OH I VERY MUCH BELIEVE!
I am in tune with most of my chakras. I meditate, I use corresponding crystals to help balance the ones that are wobbly.
I used to have that book and and made quite a few of the tonics. They were very good and very helpful. I wonder what I did with it....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm gonna go look..
Anyway, keep reading, keep and open mind and read and learn all that you can. You will learn amazing things about your self and others around you. Start writing your dreams down, as you do more and more chakra work, you will notice a difference in your dreams. Learn the great art of meditation.. with an open mind. Again.. you will be amazed at what you will learn.
