Clouds

Those are pretty impressive. Last time I took photos of clouds they really didn't look like anything special at all, even though the real thing had looked like tornado clouds building.

No, I hardly take any pictures.. But when the clouds get like this, I will try not to be around. I am glad to know that everyone is fine. Storms these days seem to be very tragic..

How long did the storm last? 515 minutes, 15 minutes, or 51 minutes? I am not sure we had some thunder clouds yesterday but no thunder or rain. Here in California they are still putting out the 100's of wild fires that started from our last thunder storms that passed through. We have lots of smoke in the air. We are about 35 miles from one fire. You can smell the smoke in the air like a fresh fire. Some days it is so bad your eyes burn from it. Now we are having another heat wave it is currently 106 with humidity of 19%. Now I know your humidity is higher but we are not use to any humidity so it feels humid out there to me. I got hot in swimming pool today. I had to come in out of the sun to cool off. I will comment and rate your photo once I post this discussion.

Sure did! I thought we were the only ones who got bad weather earlier in the week. The bad weather made me feel so glum and blue I did not feel like posting on MyLot or doing anything but watching TV. Nice picture. I have never thought to take a picture of the clouds. How lovely!

We did not have a storm on Monday but we had one yesterday. Well I say storm it was more like a couple of rumbles of thunder really but as I dont like thunder it was enough to call a storm for me! I do not take pictures of the clouds as it happens but I have been trying to get back into taking photos and so it gives me an idea of what I can try.

awhile back i started really enjoying clouds but i didn't want to tell anyone cause i thot they'd think i was crazy. then i started taking pictures w my camera phone. and i really liked them. i also discovered there's a site for a club you can join for people that love clouds. that made me feel better. and now i've found you. the shapes are so intriguing at times. they are beautiful and fascinating.

That's a neat picture, Grandpa Bob. It almost feels like I'm right up there in the clouds. I was worried when you said it lasted 515 min., lol. Glad it was only 15.

I usually not stare a cloud like this, scary. specially when the wind blow it to me. I will run!!

WE had REALLY bad thunder and lightning storms that lasted a few hours last week AGB - I loved it but my daughter was terrified! I love your photo of the clouds - they look just like a loveheart! Hugs xxx

I took this picture a couple evenings ago just as the sun was setting and I thought it looked so beautiful I had to share it with you when I saw this discussion. I rarely take any pictures but when I saw this the other evening I had to go into the house and get my daughter's camera and take a picture of it so she could see it too, when she got home. It looks like a ball of fire and that is exactly what I thought of when I first saw it. It never stormed that night either, as I thought it would. Those are not rain clouds, but fluffy white clouds with the sunset peaking through. I saw this right outside my house, sitting on my deck having a smoke, I looked up and saw this. And I live right in the middle of Calgary.

I should start, I should have taken some pics of the clouds this evening for my kids in Arizona, they rarely see such beauty. We had a wonderful storm, lots of thunder and lightening. Gus hated it, sat on my lap and shook till it was done. All the trees and flowers are very happy right now!

It looks like it is brewing for a serious storm. We have rain completely with thunder and lighting several times a week at this time of the year.

We did not have a storm on monday , but the sky did get very dark . My fiance who works in another part of town got hit with a storm . He said it was a very hard down pour with cold rain , and it soaked him . He is a mailman so he has to work in all types of weather . I guess it missed over here , because even my parents got hit . It funny that just 20 mins away all that could be going on .
