Importance of 4 glasses of water

I think that water is very important to a person's health. I drink about 100 oz a day. Hydration has a lot of health benefits... it's good for a person's skin, hair, blood, etc. I do drink it throughout the day, though, and not all at once. Do you think that there is a difference? I've heard that people who use water has a hunger deterent, it is better to drink a little water at a time rather than all at once.
