Photo Uploading Problems

Well GRANDPA BOB I only just got on here awhile ago, so haven't had a chance to upload any photos...I never have had that problem here, but several times when I uploaded photos to illustrate one of my articles over at Associated Content my photo went poof on me as well. The great feature about AC one can go back and edit, which I would and attempt to upload the photo again...but still nothing happened. It'd be frustrating since the photos would match the article perfectly

Your just wasting your time contacting mylot now. They used to respond but now I wonder if they just do a mass deletion instead. This rarely happens to me thou.

I don't upload many but the ones I have I had no problems with so I don't know why it is happening Grandpa Bob there has to be a glitch somewhere

Hi there Grandpa B...I have experienced that last Monday when I was trying to attached the picture of my okra flower to one of my friend here, I did it twice, it shows on the page but when I post it, it was not there, unfortunately, I was responding to 2 post during my second attempt and my pic was attached to the other response and we are not talking vege there!

I don't upload many pictures on here. So far no problems. I do hear you though about trying to let mylot know about a problem and not hearing back. I still have problems with trying to send a private message and wrote them about it and nothing.

It only happened to me once, and it was when I uploaded the photo and then took some time to type out the discussion, so what I've been doing now is typing the discussion first and adding the photo just before submitting the whole thing. Try that and see if it works any better.

Yes, I have had that problem in the past when uploading photos. It has been a very long time for me. I rarely ever add photos to a discussion. I never bothered writing myLot about it. As you say, I seem to never hear from them on my questions. Don't get frustrated and stop posting. I like your discussions with photos.

I have not had any problems with uploading photos lately but I do not upload as many photos as you do. I am so sorry that this is happening to you and that myLot is not responding to you.

yup i have had problems uploading photos in mylot. but i persevere and keep trying till it works! I have never written to mylot when i encountered problems though. i guess the problems either resolved themselves or i got some help from mylotters instead. i haven't taken photos for a while so nothing much to upload. this is inspiring me to go get some photos for discussions!

Hi GRANDPA BOB! I don't have any uploading problems yet and I hope your problem will be resolved soon. I have written mylot on other problems too and one was regarding the payments here which they mylot answered me in just two days after I have posted my problem to them. I guess, I am very thankful on their speedy response. However, is till have another problem which have not been resolved yet which is regrading email notifications. Take care and God bless!

Since this discussion is 2 months old I wasn't loading images then because I really didn't know how. But now that some of my friends here helped me by explaining it all to me, I tried it and found it to be quite easy, as long as I have some pictures to post. I am just learning how to use a digital camera and how to put it on the computer as that is new for me too. My daughter is teaching me all of these things as well as some of the members here in mylot. So now that I know how to download a picture I do a few and I have had the same problem as you. But I only had that problem the one day and so my thinking was it wasn't me doing something wrong but mylot itself. I think they have a few problems now and then, with this site, and they get them fixed but until they do we have to be patient and wait for it to be fixed. I have never had the problem again since that one day so that is why I am thinking that. I hope now that 2 months have gone by you aren't having the problem anymore.

Uploading photos seem to be a problem for many, so I don't bother using them.
