How do you use your traffic counter and traffic feed?

I have both the live traffic feed and traffic counters on my blog and was wondering how everybody uses theirs? For the live traffic feed, I am using FEEDJIT and for the traffic counter I use is TrafficCounter, both of them are free.
Which one are you using for your blog or site. How do you use your reports or what do you use them for? Does it help you write more on a topic or does it help knowing where your audience is coming from or going to or which links are getting noticed more?
Apart from knowing how many people have visited your site, is there anything else you use them for? Do yours have any added features?

I have both of them on my blog. I just use it to keep track of the visits to the blog primarily. I dont really have enough information to know where my audience is coming from.
Overall I'm kind of disappointed in my blog it hasnt been the moneymaker I hoped it would be.
