Well I went to my daughters to get her yard cleared somewhat of tree limbs, branches, twigs, and get her bioys trampoline back into her yard. This is what it looked like when I arrived. Not a lot of branches but enough that she couldnt remove them. I stacked them neatly to the side for her hubby to cut for firewood. I actually had fun doing this clean up work for her. When was the last time you had to clean up after a major storm? Did you have trees down? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Oh that was so sweet of you to do! I guess, minnie is so lucky to have you around. Three weeks ago, that was the last time we have to cleaned up after a major typhoon that hit our area. Everything is really a mess. trees are down, electric poles are down, houses damaged, and a lot of debris scattered all around. It was really a major cleaning up! Take care and God bless!

That was very m=nice of you to do. I wish my dad was still living. He would have done the same for me also. I would have also been there to help him in time of need too. We had a bad storm the other day and we were lucky enough not to have trees down and branches this time. I thought our trees were going to snap but they didn't. We have had some bad storms here in the last three years though and even a tornado right up the road from here. We had hail damage to our house, cars and roofs back then also.

We have not had to clean up after such winds. What happens around here when we have high winds is everything goes into my pool. I swear my pool calls to the the crap in the air. It is like what the spider says to the fly ......... come into my water my pretty hahaha

I am glad to hear you and Minnie (and baby minnie) are safe. The picture showed some damage, but like Goodie said, it could have been a LOT worse. It didn't appear the fence was damaged? That is good. The last storm(s) we had to clean up after were the triple punch hurricanes in '04. We had no damage, but we helped all of the neighbors up and down the street clear trees, branches etc. NOT fun. I hope you all continue to stay safe

Oh My gosh AGB that looks bad - I bet you had it cleared up in no time though! When are you coming over to fix up my garden? WE haven't really had that much damage from storms - apart from the 5 year old one that visited yesterday in he form of my foster nephew! xxx

We haven't had sucha bad storm as to have to cut up limbs but the bad thing is the area that I live in is actually a low area. When we do get storms they can be really bad! Since the Great Lakes is near we do get some strange weather due to the warming and cooling of the lakes. Good thing about your situation though: atleast someone got some free firewood!

It's been a long time....we seem to be in a pocket between two areas that get all the storms.....and that's a good thing! I saw the pictures on the weather channel of what the wind looked like.....and it looked scary!

Good evening, dear Grandpa Bob. I think that it is a difficult job to the cleaning-up job after a storm, because we have had the same experience this February, when the school was so badly damaged by the ice. But it is good to know that you had fun doing this cleaning-up job. Take care, Bob.

That was very nice of mother nature to give her some firewood for next winter! There's a bright side to everything! I've never really had to clean up after a major storm, as I'm never been in one. I've been very blessed to escape floods, tornadoes and hail and the like.

Hello Mr. Bob! Well when I had to clean up a biiiiiig mess it wasn't as bad to say that trees where falling down, more like big lamps, fences and mirrors - took a good day to tidy it all back up again but it was kinda fun making a day out of it with everyone =) I guess it's because you're keeping you're self busy and everyone is joining in. Not to mention the feeling of saticfaction when you've done.

Not sure when it was that we had a storm to cause that much damage to clean up. For us it would usually be from a hurricane or once when we lived up in the northern part of Texas had a ice storm that lasted for days and days and brought down many trees. We don't have that many trees here in our yard.
