Something That You Must Avoid Here....

I know that a lot of newbies have joined Mylot some for a good cause and some for a bad. It seems when discussions are being made or being responded I've noticed that there has been insults, flame wars and bad comments being spread out when it is not suppose to be.
Of course most users who joined Mylot the only thing that comes in their mind is make money making blogs, threads and discussions, but they don't take the time to read the rules, FAQ's and regulations from this site.
If one did read the DON'Ts in Mylot this is one of their sayings what not to do:
Post to “flame” other users! Being mean to others is just not fun. Anything derogatory that is directed at a myLot user is strictly prohibited. Just be nice and have fun!
This site is suppose to be fun and it is not encouraging if one puts down or starts a bad vibe to other members in this site. The purpose is to be friendly, be encouraging, very helpful and get paid properly here.
Obviously it's best to treat everyone here equal despite of differences, interest or whatever.
Instead of making matters worst when you do see a person making such bad or negative insulting comments, its best just to inform the person or report the person instead of making more threads on the bottom and ranting back on that person -- If so this causes the person's discussion to be deleted due to the flame on others.
The whole purpose is to get paid, read the rules properly and that way everyone here can get paid properly.
So then keep pumping up those threads, blogs and discussions and keep it fun at all times.

Yes, this is very true!!! But, all you have said, I have seen some myLotter's not do. They have went beyond these boundaries.. I know so, because I have been a victim of their attacks. It is sad that we can't just post a discussion without being misunderstood or insulted. Maybe when their discussions start to get deleted or when crash kicks them off of this site, then they will stop being so damn rude and mean!

yes I believe you are right!!! it is not good to put insult and started to put flame in the discussion. it will just ruing the fun that we having here. It is good that mylot has a good way of getting rid of people who are mean. I have read many complains about deleted discussions, and minus posts and earnings, maybe because they violated. There are some also who said they were rated negative. Well, I think, doing such thing will spoil the fun. It creates anger and hatred to the concerned individuals. I just hope that everybody should have wide range of understanding with this diverse community where everybody is different in their views and ideas.

I think what it really comes down to is respect and that is what really matters here. I like to be around respectful people and I think most people would rather be apart of something nice and pleasant than have to listen to someone rambling and raving in bad manner. I think we all need to watch how we behave as we would need to in a public place.

I believe that people should mostly be pleasant with others, but if someone has an issue with someone then I think they should express it and clear the air. Also based on the rules, I have read a few of them and many of them I think are unnecessary or just plan obvious and for that reason I think that many people do not read them. If there was only a few "golden rules" it would work better.

Hi darkangel that was a good suggestion.But its hard to expect all happenings to be good.There are always people with bad minds even god cant change those people.Every thing is started with a good purpose but some how few people are successful in completely changing tyhe motto.check orkut which was build with lots of hope for meeting old friends but see some people have spoiled it even the youtube many more and dont expect mylot as an expectation.But it is we all who should take the responsibility to make understand people that its not a virtual war field but a heaven for all.Anyway thats a great initiative and i would support you in all kind of ways possible.Cheers MOIN.

you are so right and thanks for the reminder... we have to try to respect other people's views and opinions here rather than attacking or abusing other people who does not have the same opinions as us... we just want to have fun here while earning some money... so why everybody just not try to be nice to everybody??? i hope those trolls will read this post and realise their mistakes... take care and have a nice day...

So nice of you to post it hear!! I hope the newbies who has the tendency to become impolite must be aware of these things to be able to survive this wonderful site. It is really easy if you are not agreeable to the post you have to say it nicely enough that the poster won't be offended at all or ignore the post if it really annoys you. That how easy it is.

I agree that we must keep it fun here so we do not lose our discussions or take the chance on our accounts being deleted. We must also not spam our discussions. If you want to be great friends with someone, show them respect and do not spam them in private messages also.

But here's an interesting problem. It's not just newbies. There are plenty of older members who go around being absolutely rude and horrible to others...and they get away with it! Yet if an otherwise good mylotter sticks their nose in to "tell off" the bad mylotter, guess who gets blasted for it? Interesting how every one wants to talk about the rules and say that the bad mylotters need to go but if the good mylotters stand up for themselves we get essentially thrown to the lions for it. Sure I think this site should stay nice and respectful but it's going to take more than reminding newbies to follow the rules.

Well said. I think it's necessary to respect others. Otherwise you may end up no with response for your discussions.
