I live in Alberta up in Canada and the phone system has changed and it is a pain in the butt. We have to dial all ten numbers now, by dialing the area code and then the seven digit number. They are in a practice mode right now so if we don't dial the area code first it tells you to, and then puts the call through. This is just a reminder, they say. Well, as of September 1st it is mandatory and if we don't dial all ten numbers the call won't go through. I have about 200 numbers in my cell phone and now I have to go and change them all. What a pain. I just phoned my daughter and of course I forgot about dialing the area code and so it tells me to next time and it takes forever for the call to go through so it costs me more on my cell bill by the time they connect me. What a pain. It will take me hours to fix all of the speed dial numbers in my cell phone and that will take time away from my mylotting. So do you live in Alberta or do you live somewhere that you need to dial all 10 digits to get through? Do you think this is a little crazy?
