They almost tricked me!

Just now, I was surfing around another blog
and happened to click on one of their Google
ads to look at something interesting.
It was an ad for Price Exposed/priceexposed.com,
the Google ad said they are some kind of price
comparison and shopping search engine
that helps you locate best prices.
I felt safe since it was a Google ad.
But, Google popped up a warning page
that told me the website was known for
downloading spyware, trojans and adware.
And they advised me not to proceed.
Of course, I shut down the page
and went no further.
I just wanted to pass this info along.
If you see a Google ad ANYWHERE on the Internet
that says, Price Exposed or priceexposed.com,
don't click on it.
I am not going to post the full clickable link cause someone
might accidentally click on it.
You could clearly see the name of the website
at the bottom of the google ad.
That was the link.
Have you ever clicked on a link before and had Google
pop up to warn you that you were about to enter a known
bad site?
Did you go anyway?
Did you report the site?

Really? I knew they'd made some changes, but
hadn't realized the login procedure had changed.
My computer just logs me in.
Probably will be an issue that I face after
clean off the cookies!

Thanks for telling me where it was.
I was really worried, cause sometimes the
system logs me out and I didn't know where to login again!

You're most welcome!
Happy to pass along any info that
might spare others a bad case of trojan horse
or spyware! That can kill a computer!

Thank you for the warning. It's nice to know that people are out there watching out for us, and making sure that our computers don't get infected by all sorts of crap. Thank you very much for passing this along to us, here on MyLot.
