What the ____! What's wrong with mylot today?

I know the site is undergoing some changes but how I hate what just happened!
You see I started a new discussion, just got finished typing about 7 paragraphs of my thoughts and emotions and then when I post it, my discussion is gone and mylot gave me this message instead: "unable to post content. please modify your text to only include letters, numbers and standard punctuations". Yeah right! as if my discussion is still there so I can modify it. It's gone!
What the __! I don't understand! I only used letters, numbers, question marks and exclamation marks! Not even a dollar sign there or even an underscore. What happened?

hi maple kisses my lot today seems to have some glitchs. I typed out a response and was just ready to hit the post button when the response just zoomed away. I had another thought I was going to add so had not hit the response button yet. so I found the response in the discussion okay but it was with the sentence only half completed. and another time I hit the post response and it zoomed off into never never land without any message at all. Now what happened to you is still more odd, the only idea I have and its just an idea is if you had used too many exclamation points so they might have considered that what they call shouting. But again I could well be wrong. hope it doesnt happen again to you after all your typing. good luck and God Bless.

I already posted the same discussion today using as many punctuations as I can, LOL. Well, it's posted already. I think this is just a passing thing, all of us will definitely experience weird and disappointing results, but well, it's part of change.

I haven't seen that message yet, although other night it did delete my long message 3 times and I finally had to post in pieces what I wanted to say. Don't think they have a length limit, though, that I've found. Perhaps you were in the middle of the changes being made and it gave you this message. Have you tried posting that one again?

As you ca see, the upgrades happeed. I haven't had any of the problems you mentioned, but I'm having a really really hard time finding my way around the ew MyLot. I wish they had left it the same as it was when I logged on here this morning.

I was somewhat lost this morning as well, but I'm starting to get a hang of it. What I just can't understand was that. It made me really upset, so upset that I think I lost the appetite to post that "lost" discussion again... Sigh! One more thing is that, the system is logging me out every now and then... Have to log-in from time to time...

yeah, I know it's s**ks!, It happened also to me, but thank God, I can already copy-paste. I do have a habit to copy-paste it to a notepad, so if ever something happened and it lost, I still can post it.. to bad, you still don't have the right to copy paste.

That was unfortunate. Just when you were writing your posting, they must have been doing the upgrading. Yes, I know it was disappointing for you !

That is really very frustrating. Imagine typing all those lines from your thoughts (and heart), then it will all vanish into thin air!
I understand the feeling, cause it happened to me too ('tho not in mylot). It's very frustrating that you won't even want to write it again.
