My frist Tanning Experience!

I was given these 5Free Tanning coupons from a company as a promotional thing. So today i tried it for the first time. It was a stand up tanning booth, i went for 8mins. I thought it was kinda boring to be honest lol. Its like being outside for 8mins naked... Of course in 8mins i didnt really noticed a difference. What i want to know is how long does it take to notice a difference?
Does anyone else have tanning booth experience? What is your opinion on them? If you have never went to a tanning salon would you go if you were given 5free tans?

No, I have never been to a tanning salon, I live outdoors(as you can tell by my avatar) in the sun in the summer time, I really have no need for a tanning salon.I swimm alot, so I just get my tan naturaly. But if I was given the free tan I would try it to see how it woulked.Good luck.

I love the outdoors as well! Am always outside at work, and after work i am always walkn around a near by lake. The reason i thought about it was because of that fact i never get the chance to go swimming, i am always stuck in Shorts and Tshirt, which gave me a lovely tan lol tanned on the arms and legs, but in the middle no tan hahahha... Not so hot........ I hear there are some clothes you can wear though that protects you from sun and still gives you a tan, i got to get me some of them

It usually takes at least a few sessions to build your base tan - I think I started noticing it maybe at like my 7th or 8th time. But you should make sure you're wearing tanning lotion (even a bronzer, if you wish), as that definitely helps boost your ability to get a tan. I like tanning in a lay-down tanning bed and turning the radio up just because it gives me a chance to relax. It's very relaxing, wouldn't you say? Stand-ups are more intense, but I'd rather lay down (maybe that's just because I'm lazy..lol)
I started tanning when I was 15, and I tan off and on today, so I have quite a bit of tanning experience. I would definitely go to a salon if they gave me 5 free tans! Although I would read the FINE PRINT and make sure there aren't any restrictions/obligations.
