Text or talk?

I would rather talk myself. Text messaging bores me unless I am talking to someone online on instant messanger which i hardly ever use like I once did.

Well here in my country. We use texting as a primary form of replying. Why? It is cheaper. In countries where texting is just part of the package or free, yeah it will be a waste of time. But here in my country. Instead of paying P6 per minute for a call. P1 per text will suffice.

I definitely would prefer talking, but I'm an "old" lady and prefer to do things that way. I haven't got a handle on texting either. In my case, it actually costs more on my phone to text or send pictures than to talk. Afterall, that's what a phone is for, talking. If I want to text something, I will send an e-mail.

I hate talking on the phone. I do have a cell phone but I only use it to text with. It is alot cheaper for me to do that than to call someone and talk to them anyway. I would much rather pay .3 per text than 1 cent per minute talking to them.

I like both, I know when I am using public transportation there is so much noise that it is hard to make a voice call or answer one so then texting is ideal. If your someone and you have no privacy then again texting is the way to go. Many people have unlimited texting plans so there is no charge for each text message and it's not using up your day minutes either so I think that's another reason why so many text.

I am too lazy to text for hours, and it is rather tiring too. I mostly use voice, this way i dont need additional messages for confirmations etc.

Well! that depends on what message i want to convey to the recipient.. Since a message costs me less than a call.. i prefer messaging.. If i want to clarify something or discuss something.. then i would prefer calling... If i just want to convey a message i prefer messaging.. Actually my call rates are higher than my friends... So even if i give a miss call to some of my friends they call me back...

I rarely text on my cell.I just call and say what i have to say...It is easier than to hunt and pick haha...

Hi dfollin. I do texting but I prefer talking because conversation is much good. And you can more relate to it. Sometimes using text in mobile phones can cause misunderstanding and not detailed talk. If we need to address more important things we can do this through txt If the message can wait but If the message is very urgent I think we need to call it to whom we can concern with.

In my country, it's cheaper to text than talk. Depending on the phone plans you subscribe to, you can text for free for a certain number of times. So I text more than I talk. I talk if I need to get some info urgently.

Texting is cheaper here in the Philippines. After all, I don't like talking over the phone that much since I have enough of this on my everyday job. Haha!
