What makes you feel secure ?

What gives you the feeling and sense of security?
Is it the notion, to know that you are staying in a protected environment, safe from the forces of nature, protected from the evils of society and this world in large ?
Having sufficient or more with respect to money and things we require in daily life ?
or
Is it the feeling of surety and guarantee in terms of our work and intimate relationships ?
It could be a combination of all or is there something I've missed ?

When my family and loved ones are happy
When my parents are healthy and sound
When my love assures me that it would be with my no matter what
When my job gives me satisfaction more than the money I get
And of course when I have enough money to chase my dreams...
I think these would make me secure.

Yes, alok. We cannot stay secure and happy inspite of having lots of money, big house, all luxuries, if our loved ones are not happy. I can withstand my hurts, my pains but not of the people whom I love.

Hello there, I think there are many aspects of life that can make you feel secure. What I need right now to feel secure is to know what is the real purpose of life. I also need a purpose for every day that passes. I need to have something to do. That is why people get jobs, careers, university education. I think they need something to occupy their mind so that they can be secure. I believe occupation is security.
