Do you wear open toed pumps or shoes?

When I worked in a professional position, I felt much like you, that opened toed shoes did not look as professional. I have a closet full of closed toed shoes that almost never get worn any more. Now that my life is more casual, I love my sandal, flip flops, etc.

Hi Beautyqueen, where I work now I have to by law have closed in flat black shoes and I spend more money on them than I do any other shoe as I need them to be comfortable for long shifts, however when I worked in an office I always wore higer shoes but with a closed toe as like you I believe it looks more professional. I do wear opened toed shoes but not very often. Ellie :D

I don't know if I have any open toe shoes at all. When I worked, it was as a hairdresser, and open toe shoes weren't allowed. I just don't really like open toe shoes. I don't even like sandals. I had a bad ankle injury in college that landed me on crutches for a few weeks after tearing the ligaments in my ankle, and since then, I really prefer wearing shoes that have more support.

I love wearing heels and I prefer the closed ones. Open toe shoes hurt my feet and I'm not a fan of aching feet. And in my opinion closed shoes can be worn anytime whether it be casual or formal gatherings.

I don't work so I don't have any closed toe heels. I like mine to be strappy so that is all I buy. I don't like the look or feel of the closed toe ones. I suppose if I worked and they had a policy I would have to get used to it. But for now, it's open toe only.

I have beautiful toes and take every opportunity to show off my feet as they are one of my many wonderful, physical features. Not that I'm bragging, mind you. It's just what people tell me. Even so, I usually wear closed toes to meet the requirements of my job's safety requirements.

Right now I am just wearing a pair of comfy fabric and rubber black shoes that I bough in AZ. They are falling apart, but I am going to wait till I can't wear them at all, before I start to use my replacement paid that I ought just before coming home. I hae some canvas black sandles that I may start wearing now that it has gotte hot. I can't wear anything with heels or pointed toes.

I don't wear them to work sweety but that is cos I can;t work any more! I do wear them in the summer when it is hot - but only if my toenails are painted, that is Niamhs job to paint them and you would never guess they had been done by a 6 year old! xx

Hello beautyqueen26, I prefer open toed shoes as I feel more comfortable in them. But, if it is more official like when I need to attend meeting or see people outside my office environment, I will choose to wear closed one. I agree with you that open toed shoes look more casual than the closed one.

I normally either wear tennis shoes or flip flops. I did have some crocs, but I left them outside in the rain and they shrunk.

Hi , I have never been able to wear closed heel shoes . I like the open ones and the sandals . Sure, they are more casual , but that is what I like and feel my best in . At work it does look better though if closed.

I like to wear Flip Flops, or Sandles. Something with an arch. As I have A high arch.
