Strawberry Cheesequake!

My sister's and I finished off a wonderful weekend by stopping at a Dairy queen. I got a strawberry cheesequake blizzard, one of my sisters got the banana cream pie blizzard and my youngest sister got a snickers blizzard! So which is your favorite blizzard at Dairy Queen?

Hey jillhill!
Don't tell me we are talking about Dairy Queen again!! I so love that place. But you know, I try to avoid the Blizzards because they are about a gazillion calories and fats. But, if I must choose a favorite or 2, here they are: Health bar or Butterfinger.
My husband always likes the one like the "Turtles" candy, I think they are called Pecan Cluster blizzards or something like that. They've got pecans, chocolate, and caramel in them. And I must say, they go down pretty easy.
Well, we just got back from Vegas earlier this evening and my big treat there was a decaf Mocha Frappucino at Starbucks, with whipped cream! That's as good as DQ in my book!

Well, if you call winning $420 on a penny machine, "winning big,", then, yes, I did. LOL
We had enough fun to last us for awhile. We go just to get away from working and thinking about work. We played the penny and nickel slots, which are what alot of people are playing these days. I haven't played blackjack for years, I'm too scared of the dealers!!
We ate great food, stayed out late, people-watched, and had a blast. We had a beautiful corner room at the Paris Resort and Casino on the 29th floor. It was great. We went to all our favorite haunts: Mandalay Bay Casino, Venetian Casino, Luxor, and New York New York. We also went to the Wynn and the Palazzo, which are both fairly new and quite lovely.
But we are both beat. And, it's back to work tomorrow!!

You know what is sad? We don't have Dairy Queens around here anymore. Ten years ago they were all over the place. As recently as five years ago I know there was one three hours away from me in Tulsa, but since then I have yet to see any in Oklahoma. I used to love their blizzards, and their hot dogs. I don't even like hot dogs much, but I liked theirs. I miss Dairy Queen!

It's been years since I had one of those.
And I've only ever had one.
I think mine had Butterfingers in it.

I just got the Hawaiian blizzard at dairy queen it was ok, but it could have used more pineapple coconut flavor. I liked the carmel chip blizzard they had last year. That was really excellent. They used to also have a german chocolcate blizzard that was really good. I havent seen either of those on the menu lately. I think I would like to have them back.

Those all sound so yummy and like the perfect summertreat . When I was younger I used to love to get the cheesecake one . I am a huge banana cream pie fan and would love to try that one . Maybe next weekend as a treat , we will see

Would you believe I have never had a blizzard from Dairy Queen? I love their ice cream and hot fudge sundaes. It's been several years since I've been there. We use to go almost every night after dinner with the kids when they were young. It was such a fun time.

Oh Yummy! A Blizzard from DQ. Oh please get me a Snickers blizzard. My husband likes the Hawaiian blizzard. My daughter loves the cookie dough blizzard. But I must say the Strawberry cheesecake blizzard sounds just awesome.
I'm glad you had such an awesome weekend. We all need one of these now and again.

My favorite blizzard is cookies and cream. I would like to try the gril scout thin mint blizzard those sound good. The banana cream pie blizzard sounds really good too. I like cheesecake but I don't care for fruit with it so I don't think I would like the strawberry cheesecake one.

Hi Jill we don't have a Dairy Queen that I am aware of in the UK but my favourite cheesecake is strawberry. Yummy, yum. My daughters favourite is strawberry too and when ever she comes over she will bring a large one with for us all to enjoy after our meal so I never have to worry about making a dessert. Ellie :D
