Working in a foreign land is gaining popularity not just here in my country, the Philippines, but in other countries as well. Although it can be said that the reasons for working abroad for Filipinos and those from developed countries are very different (overseas Filipino workers work abroad to seek for greener pastures while other foreigners just want to gain experience and broaden their horizon) , I believe that most jobseekers nowadays seek the benefits of working and living abroad. Even students from America and other European countries want to spend a year or two in a foreign land. They would like to be a global employee. So are you one of those professionals who are considering getting out of the country

I'm from the Philippines too. I've never really considered working abroad and leaving my family behind. My husband almost had an opportunity to work abroad but is now on hold. At first, I really didn't like the idea of going somewhere else. But when he opened up the topic that he might, one day, be assigned abroad, i told him that we would go with him. With the rising cost nowadays, moving away and going to another land seems to be the answer to the prayers. Living abroad should be thought of so many times. Adjusting will really be tough and if you have family there, you should help each other cope.

Yea I want to work in Tokyo! They are the most technologically advanced capital in the world (Including Dubai). I want to become a game designer for Square Enix and eventually design my own game if not before I join. Of course I'd have to learn japanese but it will be easier when you're there to learn it. Anyone else want to go to japan? Come one I'll give you a cookie.
