Do You Change Your Website Template Often?

For those of you who own a website or a blog, do you tend to change your template often? I have a beauty website but I am currently working on a new project and have been searching for different templates for comparison. Then I suddenly realize that my beauty website template is not quite "professional" enough and am thinking of changing it. What about you? Do you work on your template very often?

No I don't.I found one I am happy with and I let it be. I guess I could though. Might spice things up. I haven't paid much attention to my blog lately. Shame on me.

Me too, I tend to stick with the same one for two years. I guess now I am thinking if I should really give it a new face!

No, my blogging platform sent a notice today that they have some stellar new designs but I have not had a chance to look them over. I like a plain template as my posts are pretty graphics intensive since I am an artist and a photographer as well as a writer.

Yea for blogs, I like plain color as well because I tend to post some photos and stuff there, I wouldn't want it to look messy!

Know my friend I am not very keen in changing the template of mine website in quick succession is because I feel was the template is decided by me I feel comfortable with it and so I generally don't try to change it and then again take time to get suited to their particular thing. Human tendency is to stick to a particular format. If a distinct they may take time to adjust to the latest format. And I really don't have that much time to first change the theam and the 19 spent a lot of time getting adjusted to its interface. I trust that is the reason why a lot of people visit my block. It did not feel comfortable with them then there would not be that many hits on my website. So I would also suggest you that if you want a consistent traffic on your Web site when it is better that you do not regularly change the theme of your Web site because it will irritate the users.

True, I agree. But I have been with mine for 2 years. I just want to change some colors and banners, but not the general layout!

No, I haven't changed it for quite a long time. In fact I haven't modified my personal website for a long time because I don't have more spare time to do so. By the way, I looked at your beauty website and frankly I like it. It looks nice and I hope you will make good profit:) I love China

Wow, thanks for dropping by. Yea I got no time to modify and play with the colors, but then I suddenly remember it's been two years! Maybe I should spend a little time later (if I have some) just to change the banner and stuff to make it more professional looking!

Wow, every month? That sounds interesting. I do think that having a new look would spice up things. Maybe I should work on that as well!

I change but not very often, maybe once in three months. It would also be very dependent on my mood, coz when I feel like the template is getting boring and ugly to look at for me, I change it and look for new looks and tweaks. When im too lazy to do it, i just procrastinate, changing templates need a lot of work and its also time consuming.
