I have four cats; and it never fails, if I need to get someplace in a hurry all four saunter in front of me like I am on horseback herding them. The senior cat member (my little girl who is 14 years old this year and is very spoiled! LOL) is on my desk right now trying to eat my beef rib.

Hi as2006! That is very interesting! I love the one that was quoted by Joseph Wood Crutch about people who hate cats will come back as mice in their next life. haha..I think people will learn to love cats from now on.

Well I especially love the first quote, as my cat falls right into that category. She comes into my room and proceeds to walk on my chest and if that doesn't work she starts to nibble on my arm, and if that doesn't work she goes up to my head and takes a hard nibble. Let me tell you, having a cat nibble on your head is a sure fire way to wake you up. I just keep pushing her away until she hits the head and then I give in and get up.

both cats and dogs are smart, and they both think they are human, at least in my household. my cat stopped sitting in its cat bed...he prefers the couch and my bed now...
and all my cats care about me...they sense when i felt bad and came by me to comfort me and snuggle with me and sat with me to comfort me when i needed someone. all animals are intuitive, feeling and sensing things, and responding back to the ones who love them and take care of them.

These are great!! I love the second and third ones - in fact, I shared them with a friend of mine who adores Malamutes, so I had to rub the sled-dog one in! But, I'll never forget a quote I heard from an obviously gay bookstore clerk in Philadelphia (the bookstore had the traditional bookstore cat in residence). He said, "Cats are tops; dogs are bottoms." It was quite the metaphor, but I knew exactly what he meant! It's so true! LOL

Really adorable quotes. Being a cat fanatic they are definitely
all true. My cat Luna is lying on the chair next to me.
He only got up when I decided to take an ice cream break.
He loves ice cream and has to have the first spoonful.
The he went right back to the chair and I went back to
Mylot.

I love those quotes! I am most definitely a cat person (could ya tell by my screen name? LOL), and these so fit my household. I really love the one about people that hate cats...serves them right if they do come back as mice. Hahaha! Thanks for the smile my friend.

The first quote "there is no snooze button on a cat who wants breakfast" is so true. I have six cats that always let you know when they want something. But my biggest cat, who we named Itsy, will wake me up if she has no food or water in the morning. She is a really big and heavy cat and will come into my room and walk across me over and over and over again. And if she sees a finger or a toe sticking out from under the blankets, she will take a hard little nibble to make sure she has my attention. It is her way of waking me up to let me know that she wants something.
