And how did you get through it? Looking back, are you glad you went through it? Did it prepare you for something ever harder?

One of the hardest things I have had to deal with is the loss of a son through adoption. I'm still dealing with it today. It was six years ago. I have since had another son who will be five in September. My first son I gave to very good people who have another daughter of their own. They weren't able to have more children. I made it through and sometimes have my regrets. But I manage to get through it. I'm not sure if it has prepared me for something harder.

I'm just curious, why did you give you son up for adoption?

Thank you for asking. It was just a particularly hard time for us at the time. I had a few good supporters especially my husband. We were in financial straits and I really needed to give him a home where I know he would have the best. It's not always been easy.
