When do you worry about bleeding?

Both of my kids have Ulcerative Colitis. My son got dx first with it and he rarely bled. But my daughter got dx this January and she frequently bleeds. When is it too much bleeding? She has gotten anemic and has needed iron infusions so that is not good. We doctor at Mayo and will probably be going back again before school starts. So will definitely ask them more about this issue. Just kind of wondering what your situation might be. Thanks.
