Countdown is the best

Countdown with Keith Olbermann is an indispensable news source. I love how Keith cuts past all the bull and yes, I find it amusing and essential that he often corrects Bill O'Reilly. (Hey, news reporters should check their facts entirely before making statements!) I love that Keith has the nerve to make special commentary and every night, cites things that should get the whole Bush administration impeached, yet go largely unnoticed. It's unnerving what this administration is trying to get away with. At least one newsperson is trying to get the truth out.

I love the show, too. It is the only show I know where you are guaranteed to hear the truth. My favorite part is the "Worst Person in the World" segment, especially when o'Reilly is on the list.

Within the last week, Billo made all three Worst Persons spots. Trifecta!

It's so nice to hear from someone who shares my view on this! Many people on myLot can't stand Keith because he tells the truth. They don't like the "Worst Person in the World" segment because they consider it arrogant. O'Reilly can tell whatever untruth he feels like telling on any given day but if someone leaning a bit more to the left calls him out on it, look out! Annie

Me too, and did you notice David Gregory seemed to intentionally "toss it" over to Keith so he could officially call it? Annie

Actually, yeah I did...and I wondered if I was weird to think that was a "thing". :)

I was so happy to be watching MSNBC on election night, to hear Olbermann give the good news about Obama being the projected winner.

I certainly respect your opinion. But I wonder, when he corrects Bill-O, do you check the content? He has been called on quite a few things he reports incorrectly. And I have to ask, what is his hard on for Bill that he is on the countdown almost every night. To be honest, I used to watch some of his stuff, but I just can't take him any more. http://newsbusters.org/node/7551 http://24ahead.com/blog/archives/008242.html By the way, do you realize there are sites just to clock his lies? olbermannwatch.com As I said, I do not begrudge you your opinion. I just do not agree.

It wouldn't be so bad if Bill didn't make glaringly incorrect statements on a regular basis :P
