Does it tick you off that sites keep changing their format?

I get use to a sites set up and they change on me. Now Mylot has changed, I was already in a bad mood when Ebay changed. It's just I'm one of those people who like things staying the way they were. Personally I liked the old version so much better of Mylot. It was easier to get around and had everything right on that first page. I don't see any place that I can chose to switch back to the old format otherwise I would. Ebay changed and now my summery page is so difficult to read because they shrunk everything. Again I don't see any place that I can click to request it to go back to the other way. At least when my Yahoo email changed their format they allowed me to go back and keep using the old version. Of course who knows how long that will last. I don't get why everythings got to change and why does it seem to me that it's worse and not better all the time. Am I the only person who feels this way?

I didn't like the new eBay look, but I was able to switch back. If I remember correctly, there was a little "opt out tag in upper right hand area of the screen. I did hear that newer members don't have the option of opting out. I'm glad I was able to opt-out because I really didn't care for the new look.

I'm an old member and I did get to switch back and it worked for a couple of days then one day it went to that beta thing and I can't find anything to opt out of it. Thanks though. I think I'm going to send an email and maybe they can help, but thanks for letting me know that some people do still have the old one as an option... I wonder how long it will last.

I finally got an response from eBay. They said I'm part of a study and that I will get the opt-out option back in time. But they ask that I give them feedback and join some discussion board in the mean time. I sent an email about what I thought of the new format and that they should switch back for everyone. We'll see it I really get the option to go back. It has already caused me so much stress trying to understand it when I have a business to run. I'm seriously thinking of leaving ebay but for the most part it's where everyone goes. I might try ioffer.com since their site is free to list items on. And if I sell anything it is cheaper for their cut. It's not a very user friendly set up though but hey it can't be any worse than ebay changing things on me all the time.

Hi, I truly understand the way you feel. Sometimes, ebay makes very unnecessary changes and I wish they would leave well-enough alone. Mylot's latest change in format doesn't seem like an improvement at all, I regret to say. It isn't user-friendly. Thanks for posting about this.

Exactly... It's not user friendly anymore here. I wish they would go back to the way it was.

I took the "opt-out" tag on the new changes both for eBay and for Yahoo. The one that got me was Excite - which radically altered their email format. When I wrote in to request going back to the original, I received an automated message which reported "Thank you for your (blah, blah, blah) but at this time, we do not currently have a plan to offer a classic version of Excite. You are stuck with our new format..." I don't have any problems with the new myLot settings. Maybe I hadn't been on long enough to get used to the old format. The banners at the top of the main interest pages are "interesting", although they take up a little too much space for my tastes. (^_^)
