Not too long ago I recently converted over from Internet Explorer to Firefox 2...now Firefox 3 is the talk of the Net! I'm just really starting to get comfortable with version 2 -- My question is: Is Firefox 3 that much better...should I go ahead and download it now or am I good just stay put for now? What has been your experience?

I downloaded Firefox 3 when it was made available. I used it for a few days. But it constantly would hang up and I couldn't do anything on my computer. I could not close it at all. I had to reboot my laptop everytime I opened it and tried using it. It was slow for me,as well. Maybe it's all in what you are running. But, I got tired of it and un-installed it and re-installed the Firefox 2 that I had on here before and couldn't be happier. I'm sure everyone doesn't have the same problems. But I think I'll wait on it like I've waited on Vista - wait until all the bugs are worked out.

Hi Multimastery. Firefox 3 offers a much improved performance and stability compared to firefox2. They have just released their first update with is Firefox 3.01. I you want you could install it to a separate drive say FF3 so that you still access your FF2, import your settings or to compare if you really want to use it. I have been using this version since its download date and I never look back. It is really fast, stable and uses a small system resources.
