Now because we are married to someone doesnt mean that we will have the same interests!and though I love Mr Ruby dearly, our interests are very very different! On wednesday night he arranged to meet a few chaps that he has known for years ,as I have said in another post that we are staying in a little town where we used to live years ago. They all think that they are `Peter Pans`and though the pub visits hold no interest for me,im not at all averse to Mr Ruby trotting off.But on wednesday he obviously got carried away regaling his tales of Derbyshire folk lore lol,and completely lost count of the amount of beer that he had drunk and the time that the hands showed on the clock!!We are sleeping in my daughters living room, she has a big L shaped couch.so I settled down complete with my sheet and blanket waiting to be woken up because he had no key to get in!!Eventually at some time in the early hours he rolled in ,I opened the door,he fell in,and I closed the door and tucked back on my share of the couch. He was sozzled lol and im afraid I wasny interested in helping him..would you have helped your partner in this case?

Poor Mr Ruby. Just a little light refreshment with some old friends and he is doomed. I expect and receive no sympathy when I am in such a condition. But it is many years since I have been so sozzled. If it were the lovely Mrs P1ke I would be all attention. However, she has not been in such a state since I cannot remember when.

Isnt it about time that you and teddy were tucked up watching the television, and dozing off?have you given any thought to the fact that Teddy will need some Revitalift in the morning!maybe put a slice or two of cucumber on your own while your at it,they look decidedly groggy.

I am the type that would not deal with drunkenness, so I would have him trot, or more so stumble into his nightwear and into the bed all by himself. He would have done it to himself, so he can do everything by himself, so no, you did the right thing haha.
