Now with the new layout the texbox where we respond to discussions as well as the new discussion textbox is bigger than the old layout. If you're like me who tries to fill up the texbox with my response(most of the time) do you also seem to type more and say more what's on your mind? or do you just respond direct to the point with no nonsense anything about it?
I tried to fill up the textbox with the same amount of words as the smaller older one but I just cant help myself in filling it up completely or sometimes going over it too.tsk3
Anyways, please share your experiences about this. Glad to see your opinions and experiences. Thanks!^_^

I still type about the same amount of word even when the textbox is larger. I don't know why but my earnings doesn't seem to have any difference no matter how many words I have typed so adding any nonsense to my responses is just a waste of time. Besides that, mylot said they calculate earnings base on the quality of our responses.

yep, mylot doesnt really care much about the word count in our posts. It does care if we put in a good respons or if we put in words over and over and over again just to make our posts look longer. Anyways, thanks for responding and happy myLotting!

I haven't noticed a change in my earnings too. I didn't even change the way I respond to discussions. I still go by the minimum of 4 lines if I respond. Maybe the larger text box was suggested by a myLot member?
Could be.

I sometimes just reply with a straight answer and other times, I would elaborate on my point of view regarding the topic that I have participated in.
The site did change quite a bit. The changes are good too
Now, regarding about the text box being more spacious, I think I still respond to discussions that I have participated the same way. It really just depends on the topic being discussed if I am able to share a good amount of opinions or simply give a forward reply. If I really do know the topic being discussed, I could also express my ideas better, therefore making me type more. And simple enough, if I at least have some idea regarding the matter being talked about, I might just share my opinion and ask at the end of something particular that is also related with the topic.
If I can fill the textbox, that good. If not, that's still okay for me as well

Yeah, that's why I really don't try to read other replies sometimes, especially when there have already been quite a number for the initiator of the discussion to reply to every one. When I end up reading, I might see one who already posted the idea that I had in mind to post so, I end up just rating that response for approval
About the PM, that's okay, worry not.
Always happy to participate on your interesting discussions

I am kinda like this. I tend to write a lot at times anyway, but now with the bigger box, and wider pages, even my extremely long responses look shorter at times. I do vary though. Sometimes I post less, sometimes more. But I am a little more conscious and try to write as much as I possibly can. Most the time I have a lot of thoughts on the discussions I am responding to, so it's really not hard for me to write a lot. I'm not sure if I've filled the box yet. I think I might have at least one time, but I'm not sure, maybe more.

Hi there bjcyrix!
I still type practically the same amount of words and/or sentences. There was really not much difference since we had a bigger response textbox. But there are times when I feel that what I have typed is not enough because I do not get that much lines as I used to. But I think that is okay because I did not see any difference when it comes to the amount of earnings I get.

I think I am probably writing a bit more with this new text box. I want to try to make sure I have like 3 or 4 lines so I can make sure my response is credited to the fullest so I do write quite a bit. I have noticed that this textbox is bigger but
I dont seem to have that much of a problem filling it up. I write alot I guess.

Yeah, thats one other thing. With the old layout we are used to typing at least 4 lines so that we can 'maximize' our earnings here but not that the box is bigger, would the same rule apply? or maybe we could do with just 3 lines with this bigger box..? Thanks for your observation.^_^

hi BJ
I do not think my writing has anything to do with the space provided. I have always written as much I felt like and still do that. I cannot go beyond my thoughts. Whatever I feel right I try to express - nothing more, nothing less.
What about you dear?

I have not seen that kind of box here. I still see the same response box that has always been here. Either way I say what I have to say and than stop. If there is space still left it doesn't bother me at all. I go ahead and post my response and move on.

Hi Bjcyrix, you should have seen the initial layout revision the related discussion is still at the bottom and not on the side, so the response occupy the whole width. I never thought you would be having problem with this too for it is mine. The more I look on topics that I could relate more, for most of the time I am literally out for words.

Not really, I still type respond as before. It will always depend on how long I could really share and the box does not really affect this. Although I would say the new set-up of mylot is a lot better and I love it.

I just type what I want to say and when it ends it ends.In fact I don't care about whether the textbox is larger than before because I haven't filled up it for one time,hehe...

I look at it as a piece of paper. If there is still space, why waste it and I tend to at least fill up a good portion of it. But I guess "digital paper" is quite different from real paper and it just wont end. Or at least the space is just too much for a simple reply. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
