The Snow Leopards are solitary creatures, only pairing during the breeding season. They do not roar. Snow leaopards are considered nocturnal, but seem to be most active in the early morning and late afternoon. They den in rocky caverns and crevices. Here's a link with more info about these beautiful large cats.

This shot was taken at the Como Zoo in St Paul by me. I love their fuzzy tial end. So pretty and graceful of a cat. Have you ever seen a Snow Leopard? This photo was taken shortly after feeding time so most the animals were resting their full bellies.

I don't think I've ever seen one, that's a beautiful cat! Mom and I are going up to the Columbus zoo soon, as I remember it's pretty spectacular. I love to watch the big cats, they are so graceful and dignified.

I have always loved Jack Hannahs shows and visits to various talk shows.
He is great with animals.

They are beautiful graceful animals if only they weren't so big I would love to have one in my back yard. But it's just not feasable.LOL!!! I have seen them at the zoo alot and that is basically where I have gotten to see them besides books and pictures about them ... I would love to see some up close and personal that wouldn't eat me in a new york minute and take their texas time about it.

Thats a beautiful cat, but for some reason I thought he would be white. I don't know if I've ever seen one or not, I know they probably have one in our zoo, but I've never noticed....Great picture.

In the winter they do turn whiter, losing a lot of their spots.

I love snow leopards. When Zifried and Roy where at Treasure Island in Las Vegas I loved to go and see their white tigers on display. I wanted to see their show so badly. We did not have an extra 75 dollars a person to see the show. I wanted to win a jack pot of 150 so we could go. It is to bad they are not still preforming now. Zifried and Roy did so much to preserve then white tigers and the big cats.

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Wow, they are magnificent! I have never seen one for real. We don't have any snow leopard in the zoos here. I read the link you have provided to know more about this beautiful creatures and I learned that they are endangered species already. Goodness, I hope there would be lots of effort to save them. It would be wonderful for the next generations to see all these beautiful creatures still walking in this world.
Take care and god Bless!

hi Grandpa Bob thats a very pretty cat, I do so love the varous'cats ,specially tigers and leopards. I did see one
once before I believeit was in the Phoenix arizona zoo, that one really made an impression me as it was so graceful and so
beautiful. Also I saw a koala, but this was startling as the
koala had got loose and it thought my shoulder was just the'
perfect place to sit. His little claws dug into me and the
zookeeper told me that I looked exactly like the woman who
worked there and fed the koalas . also He loved to sit on her shoulder and play with her long hair. So she came and took baby
koala away from me. I told my husband, Garland I want a koala.
lol.but I guess that was really out of the question.

good day.. he is beautiful and majestic. Perfect fur, I do want to see one in action specially in hunting. Honestly lions, tigers, jaguars, wolf, chitas they are the animals that you wouldn't want to be caught with unguarded but when they hunt you can see how powerfula nd majestic they are. Pure predators.
