Do you know about 1-800-GOOG-411?

I usually avoid my news but last night I was sitting here with an eye on it and I heard a blurb about 1-800-GOOG-411. This is a FREE service! I've used 411 before but you get charged several dollars for this. I just wanted to share this with all my friends online. Let me know if you've ever used it and what you like or don't like about it. How does it compare to the regular 411?

I haven't tried calling it. SO don't know how much it costs.
did you call the full number. that is you have to convert GOOG to numbers. goog will become 4664 when dialed from mobile.
so dial 1-800-4664-411.

Well this free one does not cost. I have had to use 411 before and I think it was like $3 on my bill. It may not have been that expensive since I may have called it twice, but that's still $3 more than I should have needed to pay. Directory assistance should always be free, in my opinion.
