internet explorer encountered a problem and needs to close

how do you get rid of the error message that says,internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close..i have done the tools/advance/uncheck the box for display a notification about every script error,check the box,disable script debugging/click ok.As soon as i try to exit explorer,the error message reappears.i have internet explorer 7,not the beta version.what can i do?Very serious technical answer required....

I think what you actually did was disable the error prompting but did not resolve the original problem that was causing it. When I am using IE I encounter that error but not so often. Maybe the problem is not in your browser but the site you visit, or what's in your homepage. Try a system cleanup and a registry fix maybe its just what you need. If Window Internet Explorer is not in your IE title bar then maybe you are infected, try to search that name for a cleaner.

yah...u're pretty right...i was just trying to disable error prompting feature....but from here i will try what you suggested...thanks mate..

may be you can try reinstalling the program(you can uninstall through add/remove windows programs)...
if the problem persists then some other thing may be wrong...
