Homemade pasta

Yup, we make our own pasta. We buy flour and eggs in bulk, so it actually ends up being cheaper than storebought, boxed pasta. It also tastes so much better and we can make it whole wheat, with spinach, with olives, etc. to our liking. Making it with a pasta roller is soooooooo much easier than trying to roll it my hand and we get a lot better consistency with the machine. Ours hooks onto our mixer, so we don't have to worry about hand cranking it. Yum! Love homemade pasta.

i have made my own pasta, just to experiement as to what its like compared to bought... But really, i like bought. think making it yourself as much work and it dont last long.. bought is so cheap anyway that i jsut dont think it is worth going to so much toruble to make yourself.. Its down to you really, how often make it and wheather you enjoy making it, enough for it to be worth paying out money on something can is only good for pasta making
