I'm annoyed that it is rated so low. I posted it once in the community boards for feedback and didn't get much of a response, so now I'm asking for your help. How can I improve this? Any feedback is appreciated.

I'm just wondering if some people have misunderstood your idea of using broken crayons to 'Make Muffins'. Someone could think you mean real muffins to eat and others may just think it's a bad idea to make something that looks like food for kids to play with.
I know you would only do it with proper supervision but when people are busy rating articles and don't read them through properly they may just see the sub heading and reject it as a bad idea!

I hadn't thought of that. I suppose some people could think that. Thanks.

I am not familiar with that site but, can you add picture examples of the projects? The ideas were great. I just think a more visual article would make it even better.
*S* I remember the "stained glass" projects from when I was in grade school.......over 40 years ago. Glad to see people still doing that.

It's one of my favorites, and I really enjoy it.
No, at Helium you can't add pictures. That is unfortunate, because for craft articles they could really be helpful.

I need visuals to do craft projects, reading directions just doesn't do it for me. That's a shame that the website doesn't allow pictures.

I am the same, kimber. If I try to follow the directions, even if I go step by step, I end up with a mess. I usually end up chucking the directions, and figure it out for myself*S*

I think you can add materials required just below the heading. That makes readers to know what the craft is all about. It is one best way to tell about the craft.

Thanks. I think you're right about listing the materials. I did it and took the leap-- we'll see if it helps.

Hi SC
I read the article and I must apologise for the delay in response. I struggle with commenting on this article. It starts off well enough and there is not much you can do differently in such an article. However I believe there is a question mark needed in the first sentence.
Actually after great thought, and I mean great thought, I have been thinking about what to say all week! This discussion alone has taken over and hour to write
I realised I am not comfortable about telling you if I don't like an article. Mainly because at times I know my true intentions can get lost in the mail.
Anyway after much deliberation I have decided to tell you how the higher ranked article differs from yours. Take from it what you will
She gives uses for the end craft
Instructions are step by step not great chunks
Longer introduction. Light hearted

Thank you for your comments. I appreciate you taking the time, and I will take it under advisement. I already leaped the article, and it moved up some. We shall see how far it goes. I'm not totally happy with it. Maybe I'm not for the step-by-step instructional type of article.
