"Merely"

OMG I must have said that word a gazillion times on mylot by now! 
I just realized when going through my own discussions that the word is in there at least one time and most of the times even multiple times. Why don't I use another word with the same meaning in some cases? Like: 'it's just', 'it's only' or something else?
I guess we all have these words we use a lot of times without being aware of it and once you are aware of it you feel very silly like I do now

I'm just happy it's not a swearword and I won't insult or hurt anyone by using it so excessivly.
What word do you keep saying? I saw two girls on America's next top model that kept saying 'actually', they counted the times and it was shocking how many times they said it. Very funny
