why we use to connect with server and what is the main aim to connected with server and what are the advantages to connect with them how it works how much usefull server to us

We use server to supply information to the client. The uses are summarised below:
* To store data in one place, enabling sharing among many users
* To share resources such as printer, internet
* To protect data from hackers/intruders (your PC can be easily hacked)
* There are different types of server based on purpose (Application server, Net server, Web Server, Data Server, News Server, Proxy server etc)
